A Good Cup Of Coffee
A Good Cup Of Coffee, Written by George Farina
The cup of coffee I brewed this morning was as good a cup of coffee as I’ve ever brewed. It went quick. The better I make the coffee, the quicker it goes.
I almost always add flavored creamer. I usually drink the first few sips with cheerios. Sometimes I add a tablespoon of peanut butter. The combination of coffee, flavored creamer, peanut butter and cheerios is difficult to beat.
I’m a dunker. When I don’t add cheerios, I like to dunk foods capable of absorbing the taste in my coffee. Graham Crackers, Biscuits, Coffee Cakes, Honey Buns and Biscotti’s are some of my favorite dunking foods.
The remnants from Cheerios, Peanut Butter or dunking foods at the bottom of the cup makes the last few sips extra special.
Nevertheless, I try to eat healthy more often than not. Many times I add Oatmeal with a little Brown Sugar to the last few sips. An excellent combination. A great way to start the day.
I don’t overdue the amount of coffee I drink. I usually only drink one cup per day. I look forward to and cherish that cup of coffee every day.
